Account book, 1809-1812, of Elbert Anderson, Sr. and Jr. Included are 60 pages of miscellaneous accounts involving both father and son, plus 30 pages of Elbert, Jr.'s accounts with the U.S. War Department for provisioning troops in New York State and New Jersey, and abstracts of extra liquor issued to men at work on the fortifications at Fort Columbus, Bedloe's Island, the U.S. Arsenal, and Ellis Island. There are also many pages of scribbling, math rules, etc.
