Pencil drawing of the interior of a Civil War tent. Drawing has caption "Interior" and is signed "J.W.P." on bottom left. Drawing has pencil note on the side which reads "Interior of hut occupied by Sergt Rumney and Corpl Pattison (on right) and Corpl Welch and Bartlett (on left) of "G" Co. 57th Mass. Vol. Inft., in front of Petersburg, Va.-wint of 1864-5. Jac. Wm. P. It is Rumney who reads the newspaper. Later on we had a door of hardtack box stuff, which I made myself."
