Marie Skodak Crissey papers, 1911-1997.

The Marie Skodak Crissey papers contain committee reports and correspondence regarding Crissey's work in the American Psychological Association, particularly with Divisions 7, 12, 13, 16, 17, and 33. Her areas of interest also include psychological testing in schools, training and certification of school psychologists, mental retardation, and adoption. There is correspondence and reports written by Elizabeth Kite, Henry H. Goddard, and Edgar Doll during studies of the "Kallikak Family", the "People of the Pines", and the Vineland Training School. The collection contains extensive follow-up studies on adopted children conducted by Harold Skeels and Crissey. There are photocopies of correspondence from field workers on the Jackson-White studies of 1911-1912. Reports by Elizabeth Kite dated dated 1917-1918 to the Committee on Provisions regarding her work around Camp Dix among the "Pineys"are also included. Some material by Orlo Crissey also appers in this collection.
