"Report ot Dr. E.V. Murphree on the separation of the isotopes of uranium in UF6 by the fefluxing counterflow centrifuge method. By: the research group at the Rouss Physical Laboratory University of Virginia working under contract OEMsr-398." Leland B. Snoddy was co-author of the report. Among the graduate students working with them were Frank L. Hereford, E.C. Hutter and Bob Kuhlthau.

Dr. William Taylor Ham, Jr. (1908-1998) was born in Norfolk, Virginia, to William and Lucy Ham.
