George Crabbe : priest, poet and philosopher (1754-1832) : his life / written by his son, the Rev. George Crabbe, M.A. ; extra-illustrated by A.M. Broadley with correspondence, portraits and verse. ca. 1726-1914.

Comprises the 1847 edition of the 'Life of Crabbe' re-bound into 6 vols in 1903 by Broadley. They are extra-illustrated by the insertion of numerous portraits, poems, watercolour views, and maps, together with autograph letters of Crabbe and autograph letters from Crabbe's friends, associates and contemporaries, and with an accompanying appendix volume of similar material and some printed items. The box lettered 'Miscellanea' contains Crabbe's notebooks for 1812, 1814, 1820, 1825 and 1826; a published 'Memoir of Crabbe' (1832) and his 'Poetical Works' (1836); and a portrait, notes and press cuttings about Crabbe.
