Collection, 1934-1949.

The collection consists of two folders. Folder 1 contains train order Number 41 which was for Number 98 at Redkey. It is identified as the last order from W.L. Bailey. The envelope that the order was put in is also included and is printed with an address for the A.H. Perfect Co. in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In the second folder are blueprints of passenger car equipment that were revised in 1934, 1938, and 1943.

Railroad founded in 1881 to connect Buffalo and Chicago via Cleveland. It was nicknamed the Nickel Plate Road. After it failed it was taken over by the newly organized New York, Chicago, and St. Louis Railroad in 1887. It merged into the Norfolk and Western Railroad in 1964.
