Bill O'Neal was the author of over 25 books and hundreds of articles and book reviews. He appeared in numerous TV documentaries on TBS, the History Channel, TNN, the Discovery Channel and A & E. He was a member of the Western Writers of America, and he was presented with a NOLA Literary Award in 2003. He taught for over thirty years at Panola College in Carthage, Texas.
