WJR Behind the Wheel (Jan-June 1946) contains reports of a 15 minute weekly radio program, written by George Cushing, on history of the automobile and automobile industry; 3. Automobile show commemorative postage stamp papers (1959-1960) press releases, memoranda and photographs concerning the 4-cent stamp, Wheels of Freedom, first sold at the 43rd National Automobile Show in Detroit on Oct. 15, 1960; 4. June 12, 1794 General Advertiser article "Curious Carriage" on a horseless carriage invented by a Mr. Blanchard of Philadelphia, and an Oct. 7, 1795 Columbian Sentinel article with an announcement for the last exhibition of the self-moving carriage.
