Thomas Love Peacock manuscript and letters, 1829-1859.

The collection consists of three items: an informal note, 16 Oct.-22 Dec. 1829, recording seven appearance by Miss Mordaunt in various theatrical roles; letter, 19 April 1837, to Wm. Cabell, planning to forward the crosshead to the air pump of the Euphrates steam vessel to Col. Taylor and requesting a note stating that is the Board's desire; draft review of Müller and Donaldson's History of Greek Literature, published in Fraser's March 1859, with some corrections, praising the work and describing the challenges of its writing.
