[Military commission certificate for Samuel Seavy, 1799 September 29].

Commission as Adjutant of the battalion of artillery in the 1st brigade, 8th division of Massachusetts militia. Document is signed by Secreatery John Avery and Lieutenant-Governor Moses Gill. Verso has note by Lt. Col. David Payson dated February 24 1800 that Seavy took the required oath.
