The collection consists of four letters, including: to Mrs. Emery, 14 Dec 1892, complimenting her part in Widower's Houses; to Mr. Holt, 9 April 1907, suspending his proposal of three articles "until Monday next"; to Dear sir, 12 Aug. 1916, commenting that the cinema is currently mischievous, but suggesting the medium is capable of more valuable applications; to Mr. Wolcott, 17 Feb. 1921, inviting him to lunch with Heywood Broun.
