First letter (to McClure) states that she has revised the manuscript and hopes he will use it; second letter (to McClure) refers to the acceptance of a recent story and a new one sent in response to his request; third letter (to McClure) expresses concern about "The One Armed Mummy" since she has had no word about it from him; fourth letter (to McClure) has a mild complaint about price offered for "The One Armed Mummy" but accepts it and inquires about date of its appearance; fifth letter (to McClure) requests check for "Serpent's Tooth" be sent to Chautauqua and check for "One Armed Mummy" go to Chicago address; sixth letter (to McClure) requests permission to have some of her published stories copied for another periodical and mentions "One Armed Mummy;" seventh letter (to Editor Truitt) offers a sketch for publication or requests that it be returned.
