Letter to "Dear Madam", 1934 July 16.

Letter (probably written to a woman doing publicity) filled with details such as: why she wrote detective stories, and the creation of the character of Lord Peter; the L. in her name stands for Leigh, her great uncle Percival J. Leigh, of Punch; correction of the spelling of G.K. Chesterton, President of the Detection Club; why the titles of her book were changed in America; and reference to Vera [Mary] Brittain [1893-1970], whom Sayers says she does not know very well.
