King's Mountain Military Academy scrapbook, 1901-1905.

Scrapbook of photographic images, documents, report cards, and souvenirs documenting Maurice Moses' years as a cadet at King's Mountain Military Academy, Yorkville, S.C., with manuscript notes including "Boys of the K.M.M.A. 1901-1905," identifying cadets by name, office, hometown, and nickname. Images include views of the main building; cadet officers, commissioned and non-commissioned; inspections; commercial department; baseball team; and bayonet exercise. Specimen documents include application form; grade report; and Spartanburg Steam Laundry ticket. Souvenir artifacts include logos cut from candy and shoe polish boxes and a piece of cloth used in cleaning guns.
