The records of the New Jersey Medical School date from 1956 to 1981, and those of UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School date from 1982 to the present. The bulk of the material dates from the mid-1960s onward. The collection contains documents from the Seton Hall College of Medicine and Dentistry from 1957 to 1965, the New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry from 1965 to 1970, and the College/University of Medicine and Dentistry from 1971 to the present. The collection is strong on school publications, including a full run of school catalogs, a complete set of yearbooks, and various school, student and faculty publications. Faculty and curriculum development are represented by the minutes from the Executive Faculty Council meetings and other faculty Ad Hoc committees, as well as the Curriculum Elective Booklets.
