Includes ministerial charges for the following: Sangamon County Mission, 1827; Fort Clark Mission, 1831-1832; Bloomington, 1832-1833, 1839; Ottawa, 1834-1835; Fox River, 1835-1836; Waterloo and Hennepin, 1838-1839; Winchester, 1839-1840; Pulaski, 1841-1842; Monmouth and Fox River, 1842-1843; Greenville, 1844-1845; Peoria, 1844-1845; Little Rock, 1847-1848; and Livingston, 1847, 1850-1851. Includes the memoirs of William Royal and his son Thomas Fletcher Royal. There is much discussion of the Black Hawk War and a sketch of Peter Cartwright in the memoirs. There are three documents signed by Peter Cartwright and references to Cartwright throughout the collection.
