Isaac Bradford photographs, ca. 1860-1931.

Photographs of Isaac Bradford, mayor of Cambridge, Mass. (1873-1876), and his family. Photographs include portraits of Bradford as a young man in Colorado ca. 1865-1866 when he worked for the Columbia Gold Mining Co.'s claim in Central City, Colo., as well as of his children, Ellen H. Bradford and Isaac Bradford, Jr., and other family members. There are also two views of Central City, annotated in Bradford's hand, as well as a photo of the covered wagon mining train with which he traveled to Colorado. Photographers include George D. Wakely of Denver City, Colo., among others. Includes cartes de visite, cabinet cards, and tintypes.
