Oral history interview : Colin Herald Campbell, Reed College class of 1933, and Virginia Paris Campbell, Reed College class of 1934 / interviewed by Rita Pittlman Parra, on January 15 and February 12, 2004.

Both Colin and Virginia were day-dodgers; Virginia started out at the University of Oregon but transferred to Reed as a sophomore. Colin and Virginia sang in the Reed choir, and Colin was the first president of the Portland Symphony Choir. Virginia remembers Barry Cerf as a major influence. Colin was a professional photographer for ten years, and part of his Reed career was taking formal photographs of Reed professors. He also taught a photography class to a group of the pre-meteorology students (AMPs) at Reed in 1943.
