Photograph album belonging to Frederic E. Palmer and his wife, Florence, horticulturalists from Brookline, Mass. The snapshot photographs, dating from 1911-1917, were probably taken by either Frederic or Florence. Subjects include snapshots of various Palmer family members at home and on outings around the Boston area, among other places; the Palmers' travels up the Saint Lawrence River and Saguenay River in Quebec by boat in 1913; a suffrage parade in Boston in May 1914; buildings, grounds, and students at the Massachusetts Agricultural College in Amherst, Mass.; and studies of flowers and plants taken at the Palmers' greenhouse in preparation for Frederic E. Palmer's book, "Milady's House Plants" (1917), among other subjects. There is one loose photograph (Photo. 169.321) stored in an envelope at the end of this album.
