The revelation revisions of 1835 and the fullness of the gospel, 1984.

Two works by Jack Raveill examining revisions made to the Revelations of Joseph Smith. The first, The Revelation Revisions of 1935, offers a word by word comparison of the Early Revelations and 1835 Revisions. Appendices include "Historical Events Relating to the Revelations of Joseph Smith, Jr., and the Financial Law;" statements removed from the 1835 Revisions; a page number index for The Far West Record (1983); and the text of two unpublished Revelations of Joseph Smith, from May 15, 1829, and March 1832. The second manuscript, The Fullness of the Gospel, is "designed to clarify the early history of correct doctrines for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." It focuses on a study of manuscripts received by the LDS Church in a 1974 microfilm exchange with the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS) in Missouri. Topics covered include the language of Jesus Christ, the financial law, the name of the LDS Church, the preparation of the Revelations for publication, property rights in Zion, and consecration quotes. Appendices includes a research index of the microfilm material, a summary of historical research related to "What Happened to Zion?", a chart showing Scriptures of the Church from 1823-1844, a statement from Joseph Smith's 1832-1834 diary, Godhead changes, and "A Spiritual Strategy," a brief manuscript by an unknown author which gives instructions for the path to successful living.
