Memoir, ca. 1943-2001.

Thomas writes of his experiences in World War II as a fighter pilot from the Canadian Army that was sent to aid the British Royal Air Force fight the Germans. He and his squad bombed and fought almost exclusively at night, with only five missions during daylight. He recounts how he believed the prayers of his and another pilot's mother gave them added courage. He also speaks of a couple missions dropping food to the people of Holland after their liberation.
