Papers, ca. 2000.

Taylor speaks of one of many experiences in which he was almost killed in combat. As his Company, because of their experience and proficiency, was called to move from a position they had taken in Germany to a place on the front lines in the Battle of the Bulge, Taylor and his "battle buddy" had dug in a foxhole, and were taking cover. When Taylor got out of the hole for a moment, a mortar round passed right by him and exploded, sending him to the hospital and eventually back to the States with a medical discharge. Also included are two pictures.

1 folder (7 p.) + photocopied photographs.
