In this short memoir Lewis tells of his travels around the world, especially the Pacific Ocean, as a part of the Merchant Marines. The Merchant Marines transported goods and soldiers to areas in need during the war. He speaks of his religious experiences before, during, and after the war and how they helped him while in the service.
