Plan of Butler's Island, belonging to Elias Vanderhorst, esqr. : situate in St. Bartholomew's Parish, Colleton Dist. & Ste. of South Carolina on the northside of Ashepoo River, containing in the whole 2440 acres, according to Coll. Fenwick's survey made in July 1788, that part of the island cut off by the line AB N54°25 E was resurveyed / by R.Q. Pickney in March 1824 ; the northern boundary lines, and the cultivated ricefields have been resurveyed in January 1830 by C.E. Detmold. 1830.
