Letters to Robert Gilmor and [Eliza Harriet Arnold] Allen, 1840 May 28 and 1859 February 26.

In an 1840 letter to Gilmor, discusses in detail sending some autographs. (Every indication points to this letter being Chamberlain except that the handwriting differs substantially from that in the1859 letter to Allen; one explanation is that one of his parents, Moses and Mary, was also an autograph collector.). In an 1859 letter to Allen, discusses interest in obtaining a signature of Button Gwinnett and letters, documents, etc., of Sam'l Ward Mery Marchant.
