Notes taken by William Hyde of Newton, Mass., during sermons delivered by various clergymen in Massachusetts, 2 June 1717-27 Oct. 1720, including [Edward] Wigglesworth, [Benjamin] Wadsworth, and [John] Cotton, among others. Sermon notes include name of the preacher, Biblical passages cited, date preached, and sometimes the location. Also includes lists of admissions to probably First Church (Newton, Mass.), and death dates for people in Newton and Watertown, Mass.
