Latter-day Saints in the military : World War II, ca. 1943-2000.

Elliot writes mostly of his experiences in World War II dealing with being a member of the LDS Church. He mentions being present aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga, "Sara," when a Kamikaze attack came on them at the Battle of Iwo Jima. He also spends time speaking of a good friend he met through the war and spent time with at home in Utah.
