Letter, March 18, 1889 to Gen. H.M. Cist re: receiving a copy of General Boynton's letters on the Battle of Chickamauga. Letter, Sept. 12, 1889, to N.G. Scheers declining invitation to 20th reunion of the Army of the Cumberland due to prior commitment. Undated letter to Elliot Danforth of Albany, New York stating the requests for autographs and letters have been so numerous that he has nothing left to contribute to Danforth's request.
