Letter, Sept. 3,1826.

Letter to William B. Archer, fellow legislator from Clark County, discussing his loss to Edwards. States that although he lost the election "the victory is mine--I have beaten him in his own county", but laments that his friends in "Brown, Hardin & Eddy have acted most vilainously". Advises that Edwards' policy will be "to conciliate ..."
