Comprises 2 autograph letters from Louis Antoine Jullien, one in French to 'Monsieur MacKinley' written from Dublin and dated '6 Aout 1842', the other in English to 'King Esquire' written from London and dated '14 September 1863' (with transcripts), 2 autographs by Jullien, 1 of which is dated 8 January 1841, both of them concerning reserved seats for concerts, 1 printed advertisement for a concert to be given in London by Jullien with a caricature of himself on it, and 1 music manuscript of 'the Guildford Polka' signed by Jullien and dated 'Guildford, 20 February 1850'. The bound volume includes a biography of Jullien which is similar to that contained in the Dictionary of National Biography.
