Comprises 1 autograph letter from Lord Collingwood to 'The Masters of His Majesty's ships Formidable, Triumph, and Centaur', dated 25 March 1801 (with a transcript), and 1 portrait of Collingwood engraved by W. Finden from a painting by F. Howard, signed by 'Collingwood' and published by Fisher Son & Co., London, 1846. The bound volume also contains a typescript biography of Collingwood which is different from that found in the Dictionary of National Biography.
