Elizabeth Robins Pennell letters, 1921-1934.

The collection consists of three letters: to Mr. Woodward, 28 June 1921, accompanying a second manuscript she has sent; to Mr. Grasberger, 27 April 1923, making arrangements to meet; and to Mr. Engel, 11 Aug. 1934, responding to his question about her personal knowledge of Mr. Clemens - they met twice, and neither meeting was memorable.

Elizabeth Robins Pennell was an American author and editor. She published essays, articles, and travel writing, and served as art critic for several newspapers and magazines.
