R.K. Narayan letter and clipping, 1982-1992.

The collection consists of a photocopied letter and clipping. The letter is to Anniah Gowda, [2 Jan. 1992], commenting on her Narayan seminar and his feelings about his writing. The clipping, from the New York Times ca. 19 Jan. 1982, includes a photo of Narayan and a brief description of his career upon the occasion of his induction into the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters.
