The objective of this paper is to clarify the aseismic safety of the ultimate state of space structures. A method of stochastic earthquake response analysis is presented, which extends the formula of Y.K. Wen et al. by introducing different frequencies of perpendicular axis of a space structure into the equations of motion and a general yielding condition and flow rule into the differential equation of hysteresis rule.
