Manuscript copies of letters written by American loyalist Joshua Henshaw of Boston, Mass., to his cousin Col. William Henshaw of Leicester, Mass., 15 and 27 June and 2 Nov. 1768 and 7 June 1769. Letters pertain to the seizure of a sloop owned by John Hancock; a report to the 'House of the Committee to Consider of his Excellency's Message' regarding letters written by Lord Hillsborough; a incident between Capt. Willson and African Americans in Boston, Mass.; and Proceedings of the House and Resolves for Virginia.
