Brigham family correspondence, 1811-1867.

Correspondence among several members of the Brigham family, primarily in Coventry and Mansfield, Connecticut. Includes a deed demonstrating that Don Carlos Brigham had turned a parcel of land over to his son Norman. Letters were sent to Don Carlos Brigham, his wife Mary Greenleaf (sometimes Polly), their son, Dr. Norman Brigham, and their grandson, Charles Frederick Brigham (son of Charles Brigham). Earlier papers deal with the estate of Major John Riley, husband of Mary Greenleaf Brigham's sister, Susanna. The letters cover numerous topics, including piecework and quilting, politics, and family matters.
