Unpublished French manuscript translation of political and economical writings of Josiah Tucker. The third and fourth of the "traités" deal with the American problem (Tucker strongly favored the separation of the colonies from the mother country). Other topics include the question of whether a poor country can compete with a wealthy one, and the relationship between "La morale chretienne, le bon gouvernement et la commerce national."
