Anne M. Briscoe, a native of New York, was born in 1918, and received her A.M. (1945) in Chemistry from Vassar College and her Ph. D (1949) in Physiological Chemistry from Yale University. Her career has included medical positions in biochemistry at Cornell University Medical College, Harlem Hospital Center, and Hunter College. She also was an Associate in Biochemistry (1956-1972); Assistant Professor in Medicine (1972-1987); and Special Lecturer (1987-1989) at Columbia University. ...
