The papers date from ca. 1917-1985 and contain detailed diaries and travel logs of Burg's many trips throughout the world. Also included are correspondence, articles, lecture notes, film notations for Burg's films, publicity about Burg (including newspaper articles and a radio interview transcript), news articles collected by Burg, or about him, a flag, records of a land purchase, passports, will, résumé, and Carolyn Burg's will. Of special interest in the correspondence are Burg's letters to his parents, written while travelling in his early years.
