Photographs of the buildings, grounds, and facilities at the Boston Army Base in South Boston, Mass. Most of the photographs depict the process of construction projects at the Base that were conducted by the Works Progress Administration during 1936-1937. There are also a few photographs of the Base and various construction projects in 1944 and 1954. All of the photographs were taken by U.S. Army photographers.
