Charles Guenther papers, 1960.

The collection consists of four items: typewritten, signed letter to Louis Untermeyer, 20 Nov. 1960, noting Guenther's pleasure at meeting him recently, and valuing his efforts to encourage younger poets. Accompanying the letter are three enclosures: two articles by Guenther from Nov. 1960 issues of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about Saint-John Perse, including a translation; also one flyer, 10 Jan. 1960, announcing that Guenther will lead a public discussion of poems at the St. Louis Public Library.
