Cornell University Class of 1889. Albert Haywood was born in Glenville, Schenectady County, N.Y. He atttended Cazenovia Seminary before coming to Cornell in 1885. At Cornell he was a member of the Christian Association and the YMCA. He graduated with a B.S. in Architecture. In 1895, he married Kate E. Selmser ('87).
