Describes his training experiences at Medical Officer Candidate School, his duties as a medical officer, and the methods used to train his company of medical soldiers. Discusses support received from his family and his activity in the LDS Church during the war (includes both attendance at meetings and in his role as the LDS group leader for his unit). Describes his unit's assignment to the European Theater, their movements, and their involvement in the war's last stages. Makes specific mention, with examples, of divine guidance and protection that Henry both sought after and received. Photographs show Henry in full military dress.
