Correspondence between Mary K. Talcott, who was active in the Colonial Dames and resided in Hartford, Connecticut, and people asking for or providing information on their ancestors. Also notes from town halls in Connecticut, and from the Public Record Office in England. Some of the notes could be divided by family name, and that has been done. The rest of the notes include data on multiple individuals. The names most commonly found among her notes are Daniels, Allyn, Corbin, Fuller, Hubbell, Newton, Meigs, and Smith. Also includes three scrapbooks of genealogical "gleanings" from the Long Island Traveler, 1899-1904, the Hartford Times, 1903-1904, and a newspaper in Ohio, 1908-1912.
