Papers, dating from 1972-1977 with a few later items to 1980, of Joanne L. Schweik concerning her activities as Vice President for Public Relations of the New York Branch of the National Organization for Women and as editor of NOW New York State. Included are correspondence with local branches of the National Organization of Women in New York, several newsletters of local branches, working papers and drafts for NOW New York State, notes from state conferences and council meetings, and a transcript of the Equal Rights Amendment hearings before the New York State Senate Judiciary Committee on March 11, 1975.
