Agnes Wright Spring (1894-1988) graduated from the University of Wyoming in 1913. She served as Wyoming State Assistant Librarian from 1913-1918 and in 1918 became State Librarian and Historian. She resigned in 1921 to marry Archer T. Spring, who died in 1967. Agnes W. Spring served as Wyoming State Supervisor for the Work Projects Administration's Federal Writers' Project from 1935-1941.
