Edward L. Carey letters to Charles West Thomson, 1839-1841.

The collection consists of two handwritten letters to Charles West Thomson. Including: 17 Dec. 1839, to Thompson [sic], informing him that he will receive a check for sixty dollars for his contributions to The Gift, Literary souvenir, and Violet over the previous year; 22 Feb. 1841, concerning the next issue of The Gift, and the editorship of the magazine.
