Series 13 and 14 of record group 58-17 consist of a plans (ca. 1877) of bridge on the Big Rapids and Grand Rapids State Road across the Muskegon River in Mecosta Township, Mecosta County, Michigan. The bridge is located in Section 14 in T.14 N., R.10 W. The Big Rapids and Grand Rapids State Road was established by Public Act 217 of 1861. Public Act 181 authorized the building of a bridge across the Muskegon River at the point where said river crossed the Big Rapids and Grand Rapids State Road.
