Series 1 of record group 75-61 consists of monthly fish hatchery reports from the Michigan Department of Conservation, Fish Division for the years 1938-1949. Reports were filed monthly (with exception of Bay City which filed an annual report from 1938-1945). The reports contain the following information: number and species of fish on hand; disease prevention measures; diseases, if present; type of feed used; dates and location of streams and lakes stocked; description of worked performed by hatchery personnel; and summation of months' weather.
