Series 1 of record group 75-60 consists of correspondence of the director of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (and its predecessor, Department of Conservation) for the years 1966-1969. Consists of carbon copies of letters out from the director, dealing with deer population, the management of the state's deer herd, fisheries programs, answers to questions directed to the agency by sportmen's organizations, and the management of the state's resources other than wildlife.
